The children at Cheddon Fitzpaine School are our greatest asset, but we are also blessed with engaged parents, a loving community and a team of staff who put the children at the centre of all that we do.  Visitors often comment about the positive and happy atmosphere in our school.

We are an ambitious school located on the outskirts of Taunton, enjoying easy access to both town and rural facilities. We cater for children aged 4 – 11 and currently have five classes. Our school is part of the Baths & Wells Multi Academy Trust.  We have a large field adjoining the school, in addition to two hard playground spaces and a separate, secure outdoor learning space for our Reception children.

At Cheddon Fitzpaine Church School we want to help children achieve their full potential. We are lucky to have a hardworking and dedicated team of staff who hold high shared expectations for all of the children that we teach. We encourage a love of learning, the development of self-esteem and strive to make our curriculum fun, exciting and relevant.

As a Church School we aim to develop Christian values and foster a kind and caring attitude towards people as well as for their beliefs. Cheddon Fitzpaine Church School is at the heart of our community with excellent links with our local parish church.
