Fieldwork - How does our school support plant life?
The children began their study by drawing an area of our school grounds that support plant life.

Creating a Bird's Eye View of the playground complete with a map key.
The children were practicing using their knowledge of compass points to complete trail! They had to use North, South, East or West to go the correct point on their map.
In Geography this term, the children will be learning about Aerial Photos. This week in Geography, we reminded ourselves what Aerial photos are and learnt about what a bird's eye view is. The children were given the task of drawing their bedroom from a bird's eye view. Below are a few photos of their fantastic effort!

Locational Knowledge
In Geography this term we have been learning about the seven continents and the five major oceans. We have also been looking at the countries that make up the United Kingdom and their capital cities. We have engaged with lots of different activities to help us with our learning.
