Our School Prayer
Dear God,
We thank you that we belong to Cheddon Fitzpaine Church School and in our community,
Please help us to believe in you, in each other and in ourselves,
Let us show our values of respect, trust and perseverance, as we build your kingdom here together.
Amen
Our school prayer, encompasses our vision and values showing how our community articulates what we aim to achieve. This also helps children consider each value and our vision on a daily basis, noticing how the school's vision helps build upon their moral compass.
Our school prayer...
"... shows that we're a community and a family who believe in eachother."
Esther Year 3
"... shows that we keep trying and never give up."
Sienna Year 1
"... shows that we believe in God, ourselves and others. It also shows how we work on our own skills to prepare us for our life after school."

Promoting Fundamental British Values
In accordance with The Department for Education we aim to actively promote British values in schools to ensure young people leave school prepared for life in modern Britain. Pupils are encouraged to regard people of all faiths, races and cultures with respect and tolerance and understand that while different people may hold different views about what is ‘right’ and ‘wrong’, all people living in England are subject to its law.
The Key Values are:
- democracy
- rule of law
- individual liberty
- mutual respect
- tolerance of those of different faiths and beliefs
