2023 - 2024
Class 3 have started to use Scratch to teach the children coding. We are lucky to be joined by a STEM ambassador who is helping us with this. He is extremely knowledgeable and the children thrive on the support he gives them. We were able to change our sprite, create a background and make our sprite move.
Class 3 have been using the bee bots to help with their position and direction learning. They had to program the robots to move forwards, backwards and to turn quarter turns to the left and right.
2022 - 2023
Autumn Term
In class 3 we use Spelling Shed to to teach spellings. Each week the children complete a Hive game to test their spelling knowledge. They earn coins to spend in the Edshed virtual shop.
2021 - 2022
Introduction to Scratch 28.01.2022
Class 3 are beginning to explore programming and coding. This week we used our scratch accounts and investigated changing the background and the sprites.
