At Cheddon Fitzpaine Church school, art is taught through a variety of resources that develop the pupils' skills in drawing, painting and sculpture. Where possible, art is linked to the overarching 'big question' for the term.

Our art and design curriculum intent: 

• To develop pupils’ creativity and imagination through application of learnt skills. 

• To provide pupils with the opportunities to experiment and explore artistic designs and concepts. 

• To inspire pupils through the exploration of local, national and international artists, architects and designers.
