It’s nearly Business Enterprise Marketplace Day!

It is almost Marketplace Day and the Year 6 children are very excited!  Preparations are well under way and we are very proud of how hard the children are working.

On Friday, the children had to present their Business Plans to the Ministry of Business.  They were amazing, the detail of their presentations were brilliant! They had to pitch to the ‘Dragons’ how they had decided to sell their products, what their projected net profit would be, how they had decided which role each of them would have in the business and who would bring which product to sell. They then faced questions from the Ministry of Business to check that trading would be viable and a profit possible. Following their successful pitches, it was unanimously agreed (by the Ministry of Business) that all businesses would receive their Trading Licence and their £5 Capital investment.

Your child will be able to buy from a wide selection of products such as; drinks, milkshakes, ice creams, ice lollies, cookies, cakes, popcorn, stationery, key rings, tombola and mystery bags.  We would really appreciate your support for the children by sending your child in with some money (small change, 5p upwards please, no bigger than £1) to buy from the children’s stalls on Thursday 11th July.

Please look out for the children’s posters advertising their businesses around the school.
