Today, in our assembly, we had a visit from Gill from the Christmas Sparkle charity. She told us some more about the charity, why it was established in the first place and the valuable work that they do.
Gill was so grateful to us for all of the gifts that have been donated to the charity so far and passed on her sincere thanks to us all.
If you would like to make a contribution to the Christmas Sparkle charity, there is still time. Gifts can be for a boy, or girl from the age of 0-18. They do not need to be expensive purchases as anything donated will be so welcome. All Christmas Sparkle ask is that any gifts are newly bought and not used, or no longer wanted items. They can be brought into school and left on the table, outside the school office, up to the 5th December when Gill and her team will collect them and take them away for wrapping.
Many thanks to everyone who has helped to make someone’s Christmas Sparkle so far and a special thank you to Mrs Levett for making us aware of this very special venture in the first place.
