Digital Leaders meet every Monday with Miss Conti. We deliver whole school e-safety assemblies every half term, support learning in computing (for pupils and staff) and have fun learning new skills and how to navigate different tools.
The digital leaders are also responsible for updating this page on the school website. Please see below for their updates.
This term we have decided an action plan detailing what we would like to cover over the year. We have also continued to develop our e-safety app.
On Thursday 19th March we led a whole school assembly where we introduced the NSPCC’s Share Aware website and talked about how we should not share information and pictures online.
If you would like more information, please read the NSPCC’s parent guide:
On Tuesday 10th February each class did activities to represent Safer Internet Day and learnt how to stay safe online. As a result of the findings of the e-safety questionnaires we completed at the start of the year, class 5 decided to focus on social media.
“I now know that even if you have more friends on social media that doesn’t make you more popular, its more important that you know the people to be safe.” Tai class 5.
“You should never meet someone that you don’t know, they could be anyone.” Ryan Class 5.
Digital Leaders led an assembly at the end of the day where each class shared their learning. Take a look at some photos of this below.
